So, this post has nothing to do with boutiques, fashion or any product Kade & Cate sells but in the spirit of Thanksgiving only being 14 days away, I wanted to throw you a dessert lifeline! If you're holiday season is anything like ours, then you keep the road pretty hot traveling from dinner to dinner and don't really have a lot of extra time to fuss over some extravagant recipe that calls for weird ingredients and takes forever to make. If dessert is your responsibility, then make this Fluffy Frozen Peanut Butter Pie and your family will be groveling at your feet to make it for every holiday get together!
Fluffy Frozen Peanut Butter Pie
1 oz brick cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 oz tub cool whip
1 graham cracker pie crust
Beat softened cream cheese in bowl until fluffy. Add peanut butter and beat together. Then, add powdered sugar and continue to beat with blender. Slowly add milk. It will slosh all over the kitchen and you if you pour in the entire 1/2 cup! It may or may not have happened a time or two, that's all I'm gonna say. Once the milk is all mixed in, fold in the cool whip with a rubber spatula. Pour into pie crust and freeze until frozen through.
Hint: There will probably be a little of the mixture that doesn't fit into the pie shell. You can just eat that by the spoonful or dump it in the empty cool whip container, freeze it and eat it later. Either way, selfishly hide it from the kids and eat it yourself!
I made some of these pies this morning and totally forgot to take a photo for you to salivate over as you were reading this, so you'll have to use your imagination!
